Pruning & Trimming

Proper pruning is an essential part of tree maintenance and safety. Not only does it improve the overall appearance of your trees, it also helps to prevent tree breakage during our eastern Massachusetts storms. Pruning can be done to open up your view, let in more sunlight, avoid interference with utility lines, correct structural problems, remove deadwood and diseased or infested branches, and much more.

Tree Removal

Although we prefer not to cut down trees, it's sometimes the only reasonable option when a tree is dangerous, severely damaged, or in the wrong place. Tree removal, particularly in tight spaces or near structures (such as your home), is definitely not a DIY job. We have a full fleet of specialized tree service equipment, including safety equipment, and extensive skills and training to remove even the largest trees efficiently, properly and safely.

Stump Grinding

Whether you've just had a tree cut down or there's been a rotting tree stump in your lawn for years, we can get rid of that unsightly and hazardous stump quickly and permanently. Our heavy-duty stump grinders reduce the stump to nothing but wood chips, leaving you with a clean slate to cover with grass, plant, or build on. Reclaim unusable space, prevent the spread of pests and diseases, and stop the stump from regrowing by calling in the stump grinding professionals.

Storm Damage & Cleanup

It's an unfortunate fact of life here in the MetroWest region that trees are sometimes going to be damaged in a storm. Whether it's due to a classic Nor'easter or a summer thunderstorm, we often have to deal with broken tree branches, split tree trunks, downed power lines, and trees that have fallen on homes and vehicles. We quickly remove damaged trees, clean up broken and fallen branches, and get things back to normal for you.

Who is Responsible for a Tree? It Depends on Who Owns the Tree

Removing a tree on your property isn't always a straightforward process. The first thing you need to know is if the tree is actually yours. Just because it's "on your property" doesn't always mean you have permission to cut it down. Even when you determine that a tree is yours, there are often additional considerations related to land use and habitat classification. It's a good idea to check out all of these available resources before you hire a tree service to remove your tree to save yourself from potential legal trouble and to keep you from wasting money.
